Update #1

My last update was March 7, 2005. Exactly 10 months have passed by, and boy how things have changed! Wow, where to start?! Most everyone who actually reads this already knows most everything, but i'll just summarize for the hell of it. Hm, so in the end of march or so, my parents bought a house in Morehead City, and my dad started living there to obtain residency, so that school for me doesnt cost like 25K a year for 4 whole years...I ended up going to UNCG, which i absolutely love thanx, in part, to my fantastic friends. SSS went to Lockhaven for Model UN, which was an overnight trip..tons of fun!..and because a few of us were named Superior Delegates, we earned ourselves another Peace Pride and Respect T-Shirt. Senior Trip to Disney World was in the beginning of May, and oh what fun Justine, Karina, and I had! About a month later was Prom. I went with Brett, and we had fun. Our Six-ome got prom pictures taken at Sears, which was super cheap, and loads of fun. We got to play and have fun with props :) Yay. June 21st was Graduation night. Bye Bye, SHS! We finally got out of there. Oh, high school. Isn't it funny how people thought we loved it so much? I'm sorry, not quite. A week later, Troop 204 went on its Nautical Adventure. We had so much fun with Nenad, and every other Carnival worker we ran into (Mr. Bean, haha) We went shopping in Key West, and snorkeling in Cozumel. It was awesome, and beautiful. At some point in between all of these things, STD Swimming started for what was my last season. On July 7th, i turned 19, while Mark Taccard turned 7. I adore him. About a week later, my dear friend Scott died in a tragic car accident. I think that i have learned a lot from his death; a lot about life, myself, the opportunities we're given in this world, and what we make of them. Scotty made the most of his opportunities. The weeks following this were very hard, and by August 11th, i had moved into college, and started classes on the 15th. Wow, how things change.

flamingofanatico: everyone wants to hang out with you now!
i kick arrOw: haha
flamingofanatico: cuz we were talking about siblings and i was talking about how rockin you are.
i kick arrOw: what'd u say?
flamingofanatico: i was like "She has parties on thursday just because it's thursday." ...she doesn't shower, because the pool is a good substitute... i think i said something like "teachers have substitutes, why can't showers?"

FIELD TRIP!!

went to DC today for the Holocaust Museum. spent about 3 hours there, and then had 2 hours left to explore the city. Justine and i got to the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Veterans Memorial, the Reflection lake or something?, the White House, The Treasury Department, and the like US History Museum or something, oh, and the Holocaust Museum cafe, cuz fat kids gotta eat.

Top Quotes of the Day:
"George and Laura are in Texas, but i'll tell them you stopped by"

"You're going the wrong way" "we're going to the white house" "oh, then you're going the right way, just follow the yellow brick road"(the pathway was black) ...man proceeds to hiss and throw a peanut (at a squirrel)

"The White House is 7 blocks that way" "nut uh" "just follow that sidewalk"

"The sidewalk is closed" "okay" we walk away.."Nevermind, the sidewalk's open." we walk back. "Why was the sidewalk closed?" "I can't tell you that information"

and mrs. tallants instructions (summarized)
"after you're done at the holocaust museum, go down to 14th, turn left, go run around washington dc and be back by 3-3:15...problems? call my cell"

im tired

So i havent updated since..December 21st. Well, christmas happened and i got some stuff. several sweaters, and pink luggage among some other stuff. Over christmas break i did a lot of eating and swimming. for the Y we swam a 4,000 IM one day and 60x100's another day. The day in between that i played sterling practice, and we palyed about an hours worth of water polo, and then justine and i fit johnny g. into a cap up to like his knees or so. :)

Then school happened this week. It went by somewhat quickly. Justine and I did the announcements this week, and it's more interesting in the mornings when we get to play two morning announcers every day. i like to talk to the tech crew while im not supposed to. There were lots of different people this week though, and Cody Grunlock or whatever is really good at doing the teleprompter.

Tuesday we played West Deptford boys and won by a lot, brining our record to 5-0
Thursday student council minus justine and carli plus 4 juniors played on a field trip (wasted day) to TCNJ. It was okay, but unorganized.

Calc is cool. I got a 51/53 on the test thing from tuesday, and so im happy. I just need for the final to be fairly easy, b/c i think it would be realllly cool to get an A for the year, cuz im a dork, and want to see if i can get ranked higher. 9th just isnt good enough! (just kidding)

Allison from Nebraska emailed me (we visited UNCG and ECU and were in wilmington together over the summer). She's also accepted to UNCG, and if we both choose to go there, we want to room together. I also finished my merit scholarship application for UNCG yesterday and mailed it. Yay, i'm DONE! just waiting to hear from Chapel Hill in a few weeks...and i need? to apply to UNC Wilmington still. all the work is done, but im lazy, and Mr. French wasnt here this week, and the rest of guidance is just a bunch of cranky people.

And today is friday. We played Haddon Township today. Now, i thought that they were going to beat us by like ya know, a lot or so. But no we lost 96-90. It was craaazy, and i was quite surprised. GO STERLING! but we're 5-1 now, which is still pretty awesome! (better than the SHS Girls Soccer record has ever been, ahaha) Oh, and i dropped exactly :01.00 from my backstroke time (one second)to break Ellen Caccia's record, who just so conveniently was there tonight, so i could let her know about that. Yay.
On the bus there was some talk about winning the division. We have to beat Lenape on Tuesday. That would be awesome, and make us seniors two time division champions. And then next year they'd fall back down. sucks!
Oh, there was a nice article on Barb in the paper on like tuesday. she was happy about that. But it would be nice if the courier did one on the whole team too. But so yeah, i want to win the division and get me a nice jacket thing.

it's 7:30 and im beat and have a headache. so, goodnight.

I am A Senior Girl Scout

"Peiffer Family Craft Night" occured this evening with the Annual Troop 204 Holiday Get-To-Gether. Our pollyanna was fun. Tunisia got me a really fun pillow, that's pink and purple, and has a pig's head on the front, and a pig's butt on the back. It's totally awesome. She said she forgot the other part of my present in her mom's car, but whatever.

Um, school is school. Pizza party today after school for NHS where we wrapped presents for the family in Magnolia. (and justine ate 7 pieces of pizza) Pizza party tomorrow during 4b for Student council in 311. yay food!

Holiday Meet at Rowan, TOMORROW! i always <3 Holiday Meet. So Fun. Yay Team! Last one for me though. Kinda like :(. Swimming Senior Year has been awesome so far. 4-0 right now. We won vs. Haddon Heights, PVI, Timbercreek, and Eastern Boys. The haddon heights meet last night was pretty awesome, with some close races. I had a best time in 200 IM, and touched out the girl next to me with a 2:33.5ish. Also, on Sunday at the USS meet i went a best time of 1:11.07. Yay! At the heights meet i went a 1:11.71, so that's cool. (Thanks Barb for yelling at me the entire time!) Hopefully i'll do well tomorrow.

I still have a 96 in Calculus, which is cause for a celebration. Im gonna try to convince her to make the final dummy-proof so that i can manage to pull off an A for the year, and perhaps become ranked like #5 or something cool like that.

ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS BREAK!!

Sun, Dec. 19th, 2004, 10:30 pm
ho hum

something that has been on my mind since it was brought up on Wednesday is the following:
Women should be allowed to do what they want in the world. If that means joining ROTC, so be it. No man should "lose all respect" for a girl because she joins ROTC. That is incredibly ridiculous and absurd. Also, if women should just end up being housewives, why, then, should we even bother going to school? Does it not say anything that like 8 of the Top 10 of the senior class at Sterling are Female? Now I understand that each person has different views on the familial atmosphere (does that make sense?), and these perspectives are based upon the ways we were brought up by our own parents, but sometimes, i just wish that people would stop, open their eyes, and look around. We don't all live in fantasy land where only one parent has to work to support the household. Women are equally qualified to do anything that a man can do, if not more. Just because women bear children, does not mean they should *have* to spend at least like 8 years staying home to raise their child. When things like this happen, the child, unfortunately, will, in this case, side with his or her mother on every aspect in the world as we know it, and adhere to certain beliefs which need reform. Did the womens rights movement happen? Hm, im pretty sure... It would be FANTASTIC if people could just wake up one of these days.

So swim season is now in full swing. This week we had meets against Timbercreek and PVI, both of which were won by the Sterling Knights, bringing our record to 3-0. Then, today(sun) and yesterday we had a meet with the Y at CGIT, and kicked some butts.

Justine thinks the week went by quite slowly, but i thought it went by rather quick, considering we're all intensely anticipating christmas break. Um, shortened periods on friday because of a pep rally. Carli, our president (who knew) took over, b/c well, the rest of us dont care, and hate school..while Justine is "Most School Spirited" in the yearbook..weird.

um, UMDNJ was actually pretty good on Thursday, b/c it was interactive. After thumb wrestling Tyesa (sp?) from Bishop Eustace, i got to know Janice from Cherry Hill East, who will be attending Haverford next fall. Dont you ever just feel useless because other people know EXACTLY what they want, and you're so completely lost and confused? Yeah, i do.

and i got my hairs cut yesterday :)

Sun, Dec. 12th, 2004, 11:03 pm
So i guess i'm like....quadruplets or something.

Not only do people mix up me and justine, but apparently, they think that susan is Jill as well!

lamingofanatico: i may steal your identity. but i dont think it will happen because too many people will recognize me as your sister.
i kick arrOw: hmm
flamingofanatico: although half of the people we know think im you anyway, even though we look nothing alike. i wouldn't be surprised if they thought i was justine's sister, or even if they called me justine.
i kick arrOw: people think you're me?
flamingofanatico: yeah.
i kick arrOw: who?
flamingofanatico: swim team parents, mostly
i kick arrOw: like who? in the summer?
flamingofanatico: i dont know their names... psh!
flamingofanatico: they'd always come up to me and say, "what are you swimming tomorrow/saturday, jill?" and i'd say, "i think im going to be swimming the 6000 IM and the 14000 freestyle. those events are swam at 7am before warmups start"
flamingofanatico: but only if i didnt know them
i kick arrOw: omg, why didnt u tell me this?
flamingofanatico: if i knew them i'd say, "im susan."
flamingofanatico: i thought i did.
i kick arrOw: no. never.
flamingofanatico: oh.
i kick arrOw: that is AWESOME!
flamingofanatico: yeah, i rock.
flamingofanatico: u gonna put that in you LJ now?
flamingofanatico: so that i can stalk it?
i kick arrOw: how did you guess?
i kick arrOw: no, seriosuly
flamingofanatico: lol
flamingofanatico: im so smart.
i kick arrOw: how often did people call you jill?
flamingofanatico: like every thursday-friday during swim season
i kick arrOw: that's crAzy!
flamingofanatico: oh and i got asked, "did you make tri-county yet?" and i used to say, "yeah but i can't go because i made nationals."
i kick arrOw: but doesnt everybody know me as "The Snack Bar Girl" ?
i kick arrOw: are you shittin me?
flamingofanatico: or "yeah but im having open-heart surgery that day"
flamingofanatico: or something to that effect
i kick arrOw: you're lying to me
flamingofanatico: i used to make up some crazy stuff off the top of my head, man
i kick arrOw: im known at the stratford swim club as "The SnackBar Girl"
i kick arrOw: and you're "Sue the bitchy lifeguard"
flamingofanatico: like this unforgettable conversation: "hi, jill, are you going to raging waters?" "no, im not going, but my other personality will be there"
i kick arrOw: your other personality?
i kick arrOw: sue, you're totally lying to me.
flamingofanatico: my other personality "Jacques" (i think it was) will be there
i kick arrOw: you would have told me this over the summer.
flamingofanatico: im not kidding around.
flamingofanatico: i thought i told u all this stuff.
i kick arrOw: no.
flamingofanatico: oh man.
flamingofanatico: i think i meant to but i probably forgot.
i kick arrOw: yeah, maybe.
flamingofanatico: mrs. barikian called me jill all the time.
i kick arrOw: which one's she?
flamingofanatico: jenn's mom.
i kick arrOw: oh yeah?
i kick arrOw: why's that?
flamingofanatico: yeah
flamingofanatico: i dont know.
i kick arrOw: weird.
flamingofanatico: i guess cuz u look older than me, which i think is CRAP.
i kick arrOw: but i mean, you're tall and skinny, im short and fat, you're blonde, im brown, you're blue eyed, im brown eyed
i kick arrOw: you run around saving peoples lives, i make them fried food that will eventually lead to a heart attack and death
flamingofanatico: and im left-handed, and 4-eyed (glasses-wearing), and hotter.
i kick arrOw: haha, weird

Fri, Dec. 10th, 2004, 08:29 pm

Today was a FREAKIN FANTABULOUS DAY!

let's work backwards in today's highlights:
SHS Swim Team vs. Eastern Boys Swim Team---106 to 80. OH! YES STERLING. haha, yeah, so there were some good swims all around, and i know that i was/am psyched afterwards! So me and lauren farted out times that we wouldnt normally get until like January and what not, so we were excited. and i LOVE the fact that instead of cheering for carl and congratulating him after the 500, people (Rich, Justine, Henry, etc) cheer and congratulate me, the counter. YES! apparently i'm quite noticable with my counting skiiills, b/c im cute and run away from the water and have a cute spinny turn and end up back by the pool deck as carl emerges from the water. I truly believe that my abilities as a counter have been PERFECTED over my years on the Sterling Swim Team.
and so i make people laugh when i ride home on the bus and dont feel like talking to justine (because she's not there). I flirt with rich, chat with John-John, have christina give me funny faces, and interest Amanda (girl from Ohio). and i'm "so cute" says the sophomore or something girl on the swim team, b/c i like to keep it gangster and say things like "drop it like its hot, holler, bling bling, represent," and what not.

um, justines on her way to my house in 10 minutes. So:

In access, I found out that student council is going on field trips to 1) The Holocaust Museam, 2) MAYBE tcnj, and 3)Six Flags. Something about leadership.. YEE HAW!
Mr Carpenter's pickle container was chock full today, which was exciting, but then got really creepy with Reno's quote of the day:
"Back in the day when girls used to want pickles..." and then stopped, and then later when walking out said something about "being lively", still referring to pickles. OH MY GOODNESS---FREAKY LIKE WHOA!

Calculus: I have a 93.4 WOOO HOOO! Yes. i am on a winning streak. and you are excited about that as much as i am. dont lie.

Well, Peace out, Girl Scout

Thu, Dec. 9th, 2004, 10:43 pm
Somebody Told Me

so. let's rehash the days events.

the Main Office and ADO people are assholes. Justine and I do the morning announcements. We're hot, and apparently Mrs. Lyons and Mrs. Brown, among others, watch the Sterling Morning News at home...weird! and so Mrs. Lyons likes to laugh at us when we do stupid things (like me when the teleprompter isnt on and i dont know the date)

Quote of the Day
(Brought to You by Reno Domenico)
"When people act stupid, they're not neccessarily acting"
..yes, he was definitely talking about the Other Vice Principal at Sterling High School.

I go to school. It seems as though Mattster Sheehan is getting annoyed that i dont turn anything in on time. But, i dont think he realizes that 1) dont have any time outside of school to do work and 2) Miss class every Tuesday and Thursday (except today) to go to UMDNJ. 3) Am developing an intense case of senioritis, and just dont care anymore.
I love block scheduling. By February, i will only have Physics.

We (Student Council minus matt and carli, plus sam) planned some stuff for the winter pep rally. I like winter time. this year. and i want it to snow, so that i can play in it.

I Swim.
Go SHS! First meet tomorrow vs. Eastern Boys. woop woop! So that meant pasta party tonight at the Lyonses' (<--did i do it right Mr. Patrick??) after practice and plus a bit of poster making. woo! I love to eat food, and the food was darn good.
I talked to Sebastian on the way to practice, and he decided that i am "crazy" YES! I was excited about that, cuz well, he's from Germany, and has a fun accent to listen to. Apparently i anglicize EVERYTHING. woo! i cant speak german, or russian, or spanish (Oliver, the Dominican Republican, who is the telepromter dude in the morning this week, experienced my spanish skills in Psychology the other day woo!)

And Ken Baxter and I have come to realize that we flirt WAYY too much. And on the busride home we had a disturbing "conversation" on the bus, but no one had the balls to say anything, but everyone around us was freaked out. so we're both completely innocent, and his belt is really quite cool, and undoing it and redoing it can be made to sound very sexual. especially when he makes like panting/groaning noises. But yeah,i want one. And we noticed that at some point over the summer, before the hot tub party, and before raging waters, we released our flirtation on one another. and its gotten progressively more raunchy. But, i guess its the same how like my brother (Carl) flirts with (my friends) Lauren Brown and Erin among others, and i flirt with Ken Baxter. I guess its a swimming thing. I blame it on the STD Swim Team

Stratford The Dolphins, what what? That makes me want it to be summer time.

Oh, and i got a letter this afternoon saying i'll get $13000 a year from Dyrannasaurus Rexel. That just makes my college decision more difficult.

Hooray!

Yo Tarenne- i get to swim against our boy steve tommorrow! ...Fa Reel

Mon, Nov. 29th, 2004, 05:19 pm
im having a bad day

Im having a bad day. Apparently, it is not possible for a person to just complain about other people's annoyingness (or something, i dont know a good word for it) and be happy with it. Others tend to say "jill, shut up" or something to that nature and turn it around so it seems as though you are "The Bitch"
Sorry people, but that's just not how i see it.

my day started being bad when Mrs. Akinskas decided to let loose on me after i was choking, and karina & sammy laughed at me, b/c i "dont take math seriously, and other people do" and i "shouldnt be a disturbance to them" okay, wtf? i sat and did my work quietly, while they disturbed me, and talked rather too loud for me to concentrate. why do i get yelled at? well, probably, b/c both Akin-kin and I both know, that im not all that interested in Calculus. Yay!

Well, i got a 26/26 on the Crime and Punishment quiz, so english wasnt half bad.

and i Still havent found my Human Biology Binder and Notebook.. :(

Lunch was allright. I enjoy Karina a lot.

Now i'm going to be less specific: I dont like when people tell me what i have to do, and how i need to do it, and blah blah blah, bossing me around. Now, its not like they're being that overbearing, but it just seems to be incredibly repetitive when people continually say, directing their comments to me it feels that, i basically "need to act civilized"...I KNOW! i know how to behave in different types of situations, dont treat me like a baby! Do you think i would go on all the UN Field Trips and what not if i didnt know how to act? Back Off! IM NOT A COMPLETE IDIOT! Also, i know my responsibilities. I can handle it, err..i've been handling it up until now. Let me do my own thing.

Sometimes i just want to cry.

Anywho, i cant do my calculus homework, and i need to go to swim practice b/c the bus leaves in 15 mins. And, i need to wash Lauren Browns clothes, cuz she wants her pants back...i hate the winter.

Sun, Nov. 28th, 2004, 07:08 pm
you make me wanna la la

i LOVE thanksgiving. What better holiday celebrates and commends a persons inner fat kid? Grandma and Grandpa came over, and we feasted. I like to eat...a lot.

and what better holiday is followed by a day designated for shopping? Black Friday is a good time. Let it be known that i woke up at 4:59 on Friday morning. Sue and I headed to Wawa for some coffee, and then made our way to Target, and were the like the 20th people in line. We waited a half hour, and eventually entered the warm, red and white haven....after, of course, being asked by a manager "what exactly are you here for today?" to which we replied "christmas"...only IDIOTS plan out their purchases. Who does that, seriously? After Target we went to the cherry hill mall. i wanted to take a nap before swim practice (10:30 bus) but didnt have time. so i went to Sterling Practice, and got a good workout i suppose. I dont know, carl and joel were telling miss galt on saturday that they were sore from friday's practice. now, i wasnt sore, but went along with it when she asked if i was too, and managed to be really good at persuading her to lessen the severity of the practice..or she's just a sucker. Yeah, so Saturday (george wasnt there) we did 4 75's instead of 6 (b/c she cant count, and others pretend to, while those who really do (such as myself) dont bother to speak up), and i coaxed her into allowing us to do 50's on the 1:15. yeah, it only takes 30 sec to do a 50.

After saturday's practice i showered and eventually went to Palmyra to move my aunt Alexandra into one of Uncle Fred's houses. She's moving from Maryland up to here, so that she can be closer to the family, and her dying mother, aka: my dying grandmother....well, that was fun. She paid sue, carl, and i $30 each, and wouldnt accept it back from me, so in the car home, sue and i (and a slightly coerced carl) decided it would be quite nice of us if we gave it back to her for christmas, b/c, i mean, she needs it more than we do. Carl seems kinda greedy, but hey, what are you gonna do? he's 16, and has been jobless his whole life. I, on the other hand, have a bank account that is slowly being depleted b/c of my lack of a job.

Today i spent basically all day (due to procrastionation and distraction) writing an essay on dreams for Matt-ster Sheehan for Psychology that was due last monday..hey whatever. now i have to go read crime and punishment.

oh, also, STD Swimming hung out. Justine, Meredith, Erin and I went to dinner on Friday night at Olive Garden. we're fat kids who are in LOVE with the breadsticks and salad. MMmmm. Then we went to Brett's house, where we played with Brett and Amy and Dan "The Man" Alexander and Kelly Mac showed up too. We played a round of Cranium, where Team College (consisting of erin, mere, dan, and kelly) cannot do anything other than draw. They go to school, yet have no real knowledge (sorry guys). Brett and i are cool, except um, well its hard to act out "earthquake" and just a phrase about Amy+Justine= satellite head...maybe another: satellite peas....wow justine, good guessing. the night was also entertaining with the other game thing we played, where dan ended up spooning with a manmade pillow person under a blanket whispering sweet nothings into its ear. yay team stratford the dolphins..i like summer time.

Yes, Hello.

Hello. Today consisted of 1) in matthew nestopolous's terms "speed calculus" with a 10 minute lesson and then work to do, b/c Akinskas had a meeting, and we had Rybczyk as a sub!!! she's so cute!
Also in today's schedule was 2) failure of my english midterm. yay. 3) Dissection of a sheep's eye. AWESOME! 4) i didnt do my essays for Matt's class, b/c i didnt feel like it, and he didnt seem to mind all that much. still havent done the one. 5) sterling swim practice...and i talked to Sebastian, the dude from Germany. i also think i scared him. hey whatever.

that concludes the morning announcements, have a great day!...except im not doing the announcements this week :(

oh, but over the weekend i finished The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath...so i was excited, i mean...look at that. i am a reader. i can officially now say that i read a book in my own spare time on my UNCG Merit Scholarship Application. wooo! so my next book is either like "the river king" or something or "girl with a pearl earing" dad said i should read the latter first, so i might take him up on that, b/c its shorter, and i have stuff to do this week...like eat a lot on turkey day.. WOOO!

peace.

wooo hooo!

i am now the proud owner of a navy blue, white polka dotted real bow tie (not the clip on kind!) but let's go through the whole day.

i woke up, got dressed, went to school at around 7:16, b/c i had to do lots of stuff this morning before the announcements: get peace pride and respect numbers as well as get my picture taken for student of the month. I realize that mrs. dipiazza is really cool, and well, i was "all sexed up" as she put it...weird! anywho. morning announcements are pleasant, and i continue to steal chalk from mrs. akinskas in the morning to change the peace pride and respect board in the cafeteria.

calculus was boring as usual, but i actually realized what the point was to what we were doing, so that was exciting, and there were shortened periods b/c of the assembly for the night is my enemy.

fast forward to hm, 4b. Wait, no at lunch when we were outside, Johnny sang Tit Willow to me :) and then stared at a squirrel that was eating at the table across from us.
anywho, Justine and I chatted in 401 with Mr. Carpenter during our access period today. it was enjoyable, AND we got pickles (Thank You to the Wawa workers at the Chews Landing Rd. location!)
on my way out of 401 and to 5th block, Mr. Domenico decided to tell me that "Jill, i think you're my favorite student this year." ...kinda strange and creepy based on his questionable history, but awesome nonetheless.
oh, and i borrowed a figurine of Sigmund Freud from Carp, to show to mattster Sheehan, b/c we were just takling about Freud, but matt thought it was Robert E. Lee. oh well. so i was in 5th block for 10 minutes (yay shortened periods!) and then brought Freud back to Carp and signed out for umdnj. where i, once again, learned how to get to medical school. YAY! haha..

after doing calc homework and eating dinner, i cleaned the bathtub with this awesome cleaning stuff that comes in a purple bottle and has a weird name. after doing that, i got ready for the board meeting, went to that for a total of like 10 minutes, got some pictures with my co-student of the month, Justine Spackling. (even T-Baum mixed us up tonight too. YES! "happens all the time" we told him) yeah, so it was weird, b/c me and justine went first, and all the fall sports captains did stuff like after us, so they were all in there, and it was weird, b/c well it was. so justine made funny faces at me the entire time that T-Baum read his essay on Jill's Life and Career at Sterling High School and i just laughed at her, and the fact that T-Baum felt the need to include things like "she played track freshman year and was the track manager sophomore year"...so useless..no, more useless: "Jill was in the chorus and string ensemble during her freshman year" haha. Keith Stippick enjoyed the fact that I "was the Boys Soccer Manager during 10th and 11th grades" YES! and yes, i am a girl scout and yes, i am on the science team. GO DORKY JILL!!!

then we decided to go to the play, "The Night is My Enemy" which was AWESOME! major props to everybody involved. Sorry the audience sucked. Keep in mind it was immature high school kids who obviously dont know how to shut up or turn off their phones. But ya'll rocked like a boulder. and i love Kristen Campbell. i dont know anybody who's a better blind character than she is. yay!

But, what made my night (other than seeing the loves of my life, becky and justine) was the fact that I NOW OWN A NAVY BLUE WHITE POLKA-DOTTED REAL BOW TIE!!! courtesy of my oh so wonderful AP English Instructor, Mr. Dan Patrick, whom i am now in love with. so yes. that made my day. i am soooo excited!

Taco, Burrito,
What's comin' out of your speedo?
You've got trouble
Oh, you're blowing bubbles
(blup, blup)

Good Morning! and Welcome to the Sterling Morning News....

Today is ....... and I'm Jill sollenberger, your morning announcer for today..
haha, so i did the announcements again this morning, and so the teleprompter wasnt working when i did the little intro part, and since we're supposed say the date, well im dumb, and had a little pause with an "um" and looking around to figure out what day it is, then it clicked. I think i thought it was funnier than everybody else, but whatever. i thought it was funny, because it made me look like an idiot, and im good at that.

well, day started off great, the calc quiz, well...whatever. i've lowered my standards to getting a B for the marking period, b/c there's no way to get an A for the year anyway (by NO means, will i get an A on the Final...) But so the day started great, b/c there wasnt any calc homework! now that just puts me in a fantabulous mood!

english. did nothing mostly. human bio. did some nothing, and a lab. lunch. ate food :). psychology. first, i was called down to the media center, so i meandered through the halls, and caught up with some people, learned their names...ya know.. Mrs DiPiazza works in the Media center, and Mrs. Shey-Hall is the black secretary in the main office who clicks the button to unlock the door for me when i do the announcments. wandered back to matt's class. took some notes. watched tommy boy. (i think i have watched tommy boy about 5 times throughout high school so far, each for a different class...craaazy)

had a SSS meeting (Social Studies Seminar. woop!) that lasted until like 3:15. i want to spend the night in NYC after the NYC Field Trip, but i wont be one of the two cool kids to be selected. It'll more than likely be like Robyn and Matt, b/c they're cool like that. hey whatever, its all good.

i went to swim practice at the Y. apparently it was quite difficult last night, which makes me glad to know that i went to high school practice. yay! so we worked on some turns and starts after doing some phone book warmup things..you know how we do. I love Tarenne Ferrencheck and Christine Harper. wooo!

haha.
"And that's the news for today, have a great day."

I (pretend to) Know My Calculus

I am sick and tired of stupid uesless things such as the Rolle's Theorem, and the Mean Value Theorem, so i have come up with the Mean Sollenberger Theorem: (it has yet to be put into crazy mathematical jargon...like "let f be cont on [a,b] and diff on...")Here goes:

All these mathematicians are boring useless guys who couldnt get any, so they spent all day pent up in a boring room with paper, writing instrument, a calculator (or an abacus and what have you) and their own minds and thought of stupid theories and principles that would be used to torture future high school students who actually did have lives, and no time to fool around with stupid theoretical nonsense just so that they could get pay back to the people in their lifetimes and future lifetimes who did not lead a miserable life like their own.

Take that Mrs. Akinskas!

yeah, so there's a quiz tomorrow.
I went to sterling swim practice today...yum. It's really cool when you're the fastest there (because barb, joel, and your brother arent there, and everybody is not in shape yet.) But yeah, what is UP with all the people?! that's crazy, well i met Amanda, Jess, Sean, some other girl, and some other guy. yeah, im good with names, you want me. (the only reason i remember the 3 is 1-i politely asked amanda if we could "swap" seats. 2-sean is the guy i told to pull up his pants. 3-justine told me jess was cool. Oh, i also found out about this girl Megan who knows my name and asked me if she had kicked me. WEIRD!...yeah, so apparently people at sterling know people like me and justine as the "girl on the announcements" well, justine's known as the "get -it girl"...and im just "Jill Sollenberger, your morning announcer for today"
i should quit procrastinating and get back to studying.
i dont know how to do pushups.
i enjoy psychology with Matt-ster Sheehan
i hate calculus.
i have a board meeting to go to on thursday, what should i wear?
ugh. goodnight.
